With Time Will Tell, Canadian pianist Andy Milne continues to chronicle his story and it sounds pretty good too. In unison with John Hebert and Clarence Penn, Andy picks up where 2020’s The reMISSION left off by adding tenor saxophonist Ingrid Laubrock and lead kotoist Yoko Reikano Kimura on a handful of tunes. That’s a quintet worthy of pursuing - not to take anything away from the trio of course as it’s primarily their journey.
