It’s as immediate as a (sucker) punch in the nose that Silver Side Up is a Rick Parashar production. Rick, a prime architect of your Dad’s Seattle sound ply’s his skills to Silver Side Up as much as he did all those years ago. The problem - the client on Rick’s list is a client that a million years ago or 10 to be exact, wouldn’t have gotten within a million miles of his client list. The running time of 10 songs over 39 minutes is appreciated though, as Nickelback lets you off easy - while selling 6 million copies.
