First and foremost it’s 71 minutes long and that’s like starting with two strikes and a check swing. However, Devil Without A Cause comes in hard, develops and jackhammers in ways this type of music doesn’t normally do for 10 seconds let alone 71 minutes. Of course Devil Without A Cause ain’t no filet mignon, but it’s been marinated in all the right spices, chicken fried then dipped in ranch for an ear that deplores this particular cut of meat and preparation.
